The Mercer County School Board talks school resource officer at Mercer County Junior High in Joy. The district has been involved in discussions with the Mercer County Board and took action Wednesday night says Unit 404 superintendent Scott Petrie.
The district is also in discussions with the City of Aledo to staff a full-time resource officer at Mercer County High School. Currently, an officer spends four-hours a day in the building.
