The Aledo City Council has scheduled a public hearing this week for single waste hauler services. The meeting is Thursday night says City Administrator Erin Knackstedt.
Jackson Disposal has submitted the low bid for the single waste hauler contract. The bid was $9.67 per month for residents plus another $4.15 per month for recycling. The city would then have to determine an administrative fee. Billing would be included in the monthly water bill.
