Rock Island defeated both Mercer County and Rockridge in a boys golf triangular at Highland Springs Thursday. The Rocks shot 175 as a team, finishing seven strokes ahead of Mercer County’s 182. Rockridge’s teams score of 188 put them in third place. Mercer County’s Carson Boelens and Rock Island’s Chase Hadley each shot 42.
