The Mercer County Sheriff’s Department assisting the Warren County Sheriff’s Department over the weekend. An individual fled from police, eventually crashed a vehicle and then fled on foot. The subject was eventually apprehended and turned over to the Warren County Sheriff’s office, according to a Mercer County Sheriff’s Department report. The individual was then transferred to a medical facility to receive treatment for self-inflicted injuries. Mercer County Sheriff’s Deputies initially located the subject near Keithsburg. The individual’s name has not been released.
