New Boston Sex Assault Case Continued To February

A New Boston man’s sexual assault case has been moved to next year. 25-year-old Joshua Masters appeared in Mercer County Circuit Court earlier this week for a pre-trial conference with the matter continued to Feb. 1. He faces a Class 1 felony and was arrested last June after Mercer County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a 911 call in New Boston. The Mercer County Sheriff’s Department was assisted by the New Boston Police Department and Illinois State Police Crime Scene Services. Masters remains in custody at the Mercer County Jail on $100,000 bond.
