A New Boston man being sent to prison in a meth case. 46 year old Trevor Shoemaker was sentenced this morning in Mercer County Circuit Court to five-and-a-half years in the Illinois Department of Corrections after pleading guilty to a Class 3 felony of possession of methamphetamine. He was ordered to surrender to the Mercer County Jail on September 17th for transfer to DOC. The meth charge stemmed from a February arrest.
