Jim Taylor was recognized Saturday night with a career achievement award from the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association for his contributions and promotion of the sport. The Herrin Award is named in honor of Illinois coaching legends Ron and Rich Herrin and Jim is the first broadcaster to receive the prestigious honor.
